EVE is very proud to announce that the founder of EVE has been appointed to the International Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Council (ISTAC) with the Organized Security and Co-operation of Europe (OSCE). Trisha’s vast and diverse bodies of work are respected Nationally and Internationally. While proud of the accomplishments she has completed so far, feels there are many more to come.

The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) created the ISTAC in an effort to further drive the importance of including and promoting the voices of survivors in all matters related to combating trafficking of human beings. They are focused on bringing together 21 survivors of human trafficking from throughout the OSCE region, in order to assist the ODIHR in combating modern-day slavery. The team of survivors consists of a diverse group of individuals, from different regions, who are all working to combat modern-day slavery.

Trisha is very honoured to be joining ISTAC’s council and joining forces to see what can be accomplished.
